Removals Assistant Manager - Full Time, Bury St Edmunds

Glasswells is now recruiting the position of Assistant Manager within our busy Removals business. Experience in the removal industry and any specialist removal qualifications would be preferable, however full training will be given to the correct candidate. The sales side of the job involves house visits, surveying and estimating, customer liaison and planning.  Supporting the department Manager, you will share responsibility for operation management, health and safety and vehicle maintenance; strong leadership and communication skills will aid you in the day-to-day management of our 20 removal drivers and porters. The removals business operates out of a warehouse facility shared with our storage and retail delivery service, which also employs approximately 20 staff. Excellent organisation and IT skills are required, particularly Microsoft Office, as the role involves creating and managing estimates using Moveman software. 

 

Linens/Gifts Sales Adviser - 30hrs - Ipswich

A multi-skilled sales adviser is required for our busy linens and gifts departments. Applicants must be confident, flexible and approachable with a cheerful and willing attitude to help and serve customers.
