Administrator - Full Time -Bury St Edmunds
We require an enthusiastic, motivated and organised person to work in our busy Contract Furnishings Department. Responsibilities include liaising with customers via the telephone, day-to-day administration, raising customer invoices, chasing customer payments, reporting on outstanding customer debt, and supporting the rest of the Contracts team as they supply flooring and furnishings to builders, schools, nursing homes, offices and other commercial organisations.

Temporary Homewares Sales Adviser (Maternity Cover) - Full Time, Ipswich
We are currently looking for a sales adviser to join our Linens, Lighting and Homewares team in Ipswich. This is a temporary full time position, which will include working weekends on a rota basis. Applicants will be confident, flexible and approachable, with a cheerful and willing attitude to assist our valued customers.

Catering Assistant/Waiting Staff - Part Time, Ipswich
A part time Catering Assistant is required in our Place to Eat Restaurant at our Ipswich store; experience would be preferred, but is not essential. You will be required to work alternate weekends.

Cake Maker/Cook - Full Time, Bury St Edmunds
We are looking for a full time Cook to join our popular Place to Eat Restaurant in the Bury St Edmunds store. Predominately the role involves baking our delicious cakes, but you may also be required to cover lunch time service. Experience of working in a busy kitchen is essential.

Self-Employed Curtain Fitter, Bury St Edmunds
We are looking for an experienced curtain and blind fitter to cover Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding area, who can offer the high quality standards associated with Glasswells. There will be approximately 2 - 3 days’ work per week, however this will vary with demand. Your own vehicle, tools and insurance will be required. We have vacancies for Catering Assistants and Waiting Staff in our Place to Eat Restaurant at our Bury St Edmunds store; experience would be preferred, but is not essential.

Trainee Flooring Fitter - Full Time, Bury St Edmunds - £7ph
An ideal first job! We are looking for a practical minded individual to join our busy floor fitting team, operating from our Carpet Warehouse in Bury St Edmunds. You will work alongside and assist one of our existing carpet fitters, gaining on the job experience, as well as attending a number of external courses to develop your skills further. You will need to demonstrate good problem solving skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately, following plans and instructions that have been provided to you. The job is physically demanding and involves heavy lifting. You will need a polite and pleasant manner as you will be interacting with our customers within their homes. The work ranges from fitting carpets and sheet vinyl, to laying laminate or solid wood floors, you will prepare rooms for installation and be responsible for cleaning up at the end of the job. The training period normally takes two years, after which you will be ready to begin working on your own. Must have a current driving license and ideally live in or near Bury st Edmunds.
