On 23rd October, Glasswells hosted a fantastic Charity Quiz Night, bringing together teams of four for an evening of trivia, laughter, and community spirit — all in support of Suffolk's Emergency Medical Charity (SARS).
SARS is a volunteer-run charity that provides advanced medical care to severely ill or injured patients across Suffolk and the surrounding areas, working in support of the East of England Ambulance Service.
Guests enjoyed delicious charcuterie boards and dessert platters while competing across several quiz rounds and the night also featured a raffle with some brilliant prizes kindly donated by local supporters. Thanks to everyone’s enthusiasm and generosity, the event raised an incredible £1,488 for SARS, helping them continue their vital, life-saving work in the community.

A Tradition of Giving Back
Glasswells’ commitment to the community dates back to 1954, when founder Jerry Glasswell began a Christmas tradition of giving tea and sugar to local pensioners as a thank-you to those who supported his business.
This spirit of generosity continues today, with Glasswells actively supporting local charities and community initiatives.
