We’re delighted to unveil a brand-new additional area within the Soft Furnishings Department at Glasswells Ipswich! When Hammonds vacated the rear section, we took the opportunity to create a space that feels more welcoming, inspiring, and easier to shop.

This new area brings our blind units together into a more compact and cohesive display, while the freed-up wall space has allowed us to introduce even more beautiful mini curtain galleries for you to browse.

As soon as you step inside, you’ll be greeted at our brand-new entrance desk, where our friendly team are on hand to help and demonstrate the very latest innovations – including motorised and shaped blinds.

One of the most exciting additions is a bespoke display showcasing the cellular blind collection from local supplier Nantmor. This stunning feature highlights the quality and style of the range, while supporting a fantastic local business.

We’ve also expanded our mini curtain displays with collections from RB Furnishings, ILIV, and Finesse. These larger samples let you see exactly how fabrics hang and how patterns repeat, giving you complete confidence when choosing. With the addition of Finesse at an entry-level price point, we can now offer a clear good, better, best made-to-measure range – something for every taste and budget.

All of this work, including moving the blind stands, installing the new displays, and creating the welcoming new desk area, was completed in just one week – transforming this section into a fresh, modern showcase to complement our existing Soft Furnishings offering.
