Providing administrative support to Andrew Sneddon, among other things, you will be responsible for setting up new products on our in-house computer system and website, maintaining prices, processing orders and resolving invoicing queries. The successful candidate will need excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and to demonstrate your ability to multi task and work well under pressure, maintaining a good balance of speed and accuracy.

Apprentice Floor Layer | Full Time
We are looking for a domestic floor laying apprentice to work out of our Ipswich store.
You would be enrolled onto a 24 month Floorlayers Level 2 course through Floortrain GB which at the end gains an industry recognised qualification.
You will receive on the job training with an experienced floor fitter as well as remote learning and will be trained in all aspects of floor laying including carpets, hard floor, subfloor preparation and finishing. You will be expected to give a high level of customer service to which Glasswells customers have come to expect, working Monday to Friday 40 hours a week. The job is physically demanding and the successful applicant will need to be punctual, reliable and polite.

Commercial Flooring Surveyor | Full Time
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and competent sales representative to join our successful Commercial Interiors division. The majority of our work involves the supply and installation of contract flooring and carpets to businesses, working predominantly with house builders across the county. The role involves on-site visits, measuring and estimating and day-to-day project management and communication with our clients. Experience within the flooring supply industry would be advantageous, however full training will be given to any applicants with a strong background in sales (B2B or retail). Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver | Full Time
We are looking to recruit a Reach forklift truck driver to work in our busy Carpet Warehouse in Bury St Edmunds. A current Reach forklift license is necessary. This position involves using the forklift to move rolls of carpet in and out of the racks, lifting, measuring and cutting carpets to fitters’ requirements. You will be responsible for receiving goods in from our suppliers and will also be required to maintain stock records using our in-house computer system (full training will be given). Hours are 42.5 per week, 7.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
