The most recent lock-down measures mean that the Glasswells home furnishing stores in Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Haverhill, Saffron Walden and Sudbury will be temporarily closed to the general public from Thursday 5th November to Wednesday 2nd December 2020. This includes The Place to Eat restaurants.

Our warehouse will continue to receive in orders from our suppliers and the team will contact you, as normal, once goods are in to arrange your delivery or collection. Although closed for shopping, our stores will be open for a limited time each day for you to collect your goods, with prior arrangement.

If you have a delivery or installation already booked with us during this time, this will continue as planned, with the team adhering to our safe delivery practices. If you are vulnerable or would like to postpone your delivery until the New Year, please contact us as soon as possible.

The team are still here to help you on the telephone and by email; however there will be fewer advisers at work, so please bear with us if it takes a little longer than normal to get back to you. All of the contact details you need can be found in the store sections below.

Our smaller branches in Haverhill and Saffron Walden showcase our favourite pieces of furniture and both stores have a large carpet and flooring area; Haverhill also has a lovely curtain and bed linen department and a furniture clearance centre.
